13.11.2025 - Wriggly Nativity - Save the Date!
***SAVE THE DATE!***
We are delighted to invite you to our annual Christmas performance.
This year, our whole school community - from Nursery right up to Primary 7 - are proud to present our production of 'Wriggly Nativity'!
Performances will take place in the school hall at 09:30a.m. on:
- Tuesday 2nd December
- Wednesday 3rd December
- Thursday 4th December
Tickets cost £3 each or £5 for 2. Initially, every family will be offered 2 tickets each and then if we have any remaining seats, you will be offered the opportunity to buy more.
We will send out more information about purchasing tickets this Monday 17th November.
Our Nativity is intended to be relaxed and fun; giving children the opportunity to discover new talents and a love of music, without putting anyone under too much pressure. The children contribute to every aspect of the show, from making costumes to designing posters and the set - it is a worthwhile learning experience in very many ways. We are so excited that this year, our whole school will be working together on the show!
Keep an eye out on Monday afternoon for ticketing information.
Many thanks!

13.11.2025 - Christmas Hamper Project
13.11.25 Christmas Kindness
With Kindness Day here we are planning forward for Christmas.
As part of this, we are asking for small donations towards a Christmas Hamper, that we will ballot before school finishes for Christmas.
Donations must be non-perishable
e.g. pasta, rice, tinned soup, tinned fruit, noodles, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits, crackers and more.
Each child will receive a house point for the items that they bring in.
We hope to be able to raffle a huge Christmas hamper for one lucky winner - if we manage to get lots of items, then we will be able to offer more out.
Donations will be open over the next two weeks - please send in with your child, the class teacher will allocate house points and then they can be left in the front foyer, in the correct house box.
With the support of staff, pupils and our school community, we hope that this attracts lots of interest.
Thank you so much again
E Quinn

13.11.2025 - Young Writers Poetry Competition
We entered @YoungerWriters poetry writing competition. We are so pleased that all the children pictured have written brilliant poems and are getting them published in the Young Writers Book.
As part of our School Development Plan we are developing reading into writing skills. These young people are an inspiration to us. Well done!

Get ready for our Children in Need fundraiser this week on Friday 14th November! 🌟 The children can ditch the uniforms and come in their own clothes and are encouraged to bring a £1 donation for the charity. This year's theme is 'Challenge Yourself' so we're challenging everyone to wear something yellow or spotty! 🟡🔵 Can't wait to see all the bright and dotty outfits supporting such a wonderful cause. Remember, even small donations make a big difference in a child's life! 💛
