Following on from yesterday's flag design art, today the children are to make their own pirate ship. Last week in school we looked at the different parts of a pirate ship and what they are used for. Today your task is to make your own pirate ship for the flag you made yesterday to sit on proudly!
Try to include parts of the pirate ship such as:
- A mast(s)
- Sails
- Gun ports
- crow's nest
Have a look around your house and see if you can find any junk materials that you could turn into your own pirate ship (Have a look in your recycling, this is where some of the best junk art materials are!). I can't wait to see your creations!
