Outdoor Learning at Rathcoole Primary School and Nursery Unit

We are a Forest School registered with NIFSA (Northern Ireland Forest School Association).  Two staff members are trained Forest School Leaders (Level 3 accreditation) and work alongside school staff and other schools as  a Champion Forest School, where we support and train other teachers and school staff.

We worked alongside PlayBoard NI in 2016 as one of the first few Outdoor Play Schools in Northern Ireland and achieved our Tops Award.  

 

Our Foundation Curriculum enables us to have a wide range of outdoor and indoor play opportunities to embed our play beliefs.
