MULTIPLICATION
This week we are going to focus on multiplication. Multiplication is where you take one number and add it a number of times e.g. 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 = 10. This can become quite tedious after a while. Multiplication is a quicker way of adding one number lots of times. We also have a special sign when we write a multiplication sum - that sign is x e.g. 5 x 2=10.
