Good morning. Today's literacy task focuses on spelling and adjectives.
Please see attached the spelling page which focuses on the (-ut) spelling family. As I am unable to get the last page of the spelling book, I have attached another page that will help the children with their understanding of the spelling family.
We have been learning to use adjectives in our writing to make it more interesting.

For today's task, the children are to find the adjectives in the sentence, circling them. They then have to rewrite the sentence, giving a new adjective. I have attached an adjective word mat which might give some ideas if your child is stuck.
