  • MIGHTY WOMEN IN RATHCOOLE

    Tue 22 Nov 2022

22.11.22 RATHCOOLE MIGHTY WOMEN AWARDS - WE NEED YOU!

What a year we have had. Your very own Mrs Lowe and Mrs Quinn are attending the finalist award night in Titanic, Belfast as mighty women.
They are representing the most amazing women that we meet every day - in school and in our community of Rathcoole.

    We need your help.
If you would like to make a comment on the both ladies, please follow the link below, scroll down to the Women in Education Section and click on their names.

Let's show the rest of the world, how empowered our women in Rathcoole are. It is only with the support of the community that we can all do our jobs and play a part in the life of Rathcoole.

  • Ballyclare High Grammar Interviews

    Mon 14 Nov 2022

    14.11.22 Ballyclare High Grammar

Supporting pupils moving on to Post-primary is also an important part of our role at Rathcoole.
We regularly host placement students from Stranmillis College, Queens University Belfast and Ulster University.
Last week Mr Davies and Mrs Quinn had the pleasure of being invited to support Year 14 career talks at Ballyclare High Grammar School - one of our feeder schools for Primary 7.
We were both blown away by the quality of responses to our interview questions.
We wish them all every success in their A-levels and their potential future career in teaching.

Thank you for the kind invitation.

  • KINDNESS COUNTS - Supporting NI Hospice

    Thu 10 Nov 2022

KINDNESS COUNTS - small donations welcome

    Supporting Northern Ireland Hospice

    Dear families
As we come to World Kindness Day soon, the children will be celebrating what it means to be kind and what we can do to be kind to others.

To help support the NI Hospice we are asking that children bring in a small donation tomorrow to help us raise much needed funds for this local charity. This can be handed in to the class teacher in the morning or at the front gate. Any donations welcome.

Children will take part in a number of different lessons tomorrow to learn more.

See if you notice how kind they are being and let them know. See if you can be extra kind to them and see if they notice you.

We look forward to a great day tomorrow.

    Many thanks

    Emma Quinn
