As a follow on from our shared reading we would usually complete some activities around the story. Yesterday the children completed a diary writing activity. Today, we are looking at an imaginative story - the children have to think about the story and imagine Lottie going on another adventure with the toys and write about it.
(Some children may find it a bit difficult to write the whole story and we encourage them to tell the adult who will write it out for them.)
We would normally recap the story from the day before and as such I have attached the video again for you.
