World Around Us - Treasure maps - (WEDNESDAY 6TH & THURSDAY 7TH APRIL)

 

As yesterday's World Around Us task was large, today's task is to continue on with creating your own treasure map and writing instructions for pirates to follow. 

 

A treasure map template is attached below. Here are a few ideas of places you could include on your map: 

  • A beach
  • Mountains
  • A forest
  • rivers/lakes
  • A village

 

When you are finished creating your map, try to write your own instructions for pirates to find the treasure. Make you sure are using directional language including:

  • Left/right
  • Forwards/backwards
  • Clockwise/anti-clockwise
  • North, south, east and west. 

 

Upload your child's work to your private dojo page or send it via message where I will mark, comment and return by 4 p.m. today. If you have any questions or queries, please do not hesitate to contact me.
