This week we started learning about money. We have been recognising coins and have begun to add coins together and work out the total amount.
Today's activity page is to work out the cost of the Easter eggs, adding up the coins and writing the amount on the tag. There are 3 pages in total, increasing in difficulty as they go on. Please try to do all three as there are only 4 eggs on each. If you feel that your child is struggling - try pages 1-2.
It would be a good idea to test your child's recognition of coins before starting the worksheets. This can be done with the coin word mat attached or with any spare change you may have. I have also attached the number line that the children use in the classroom. This may help when counting the larger coins on pages 2-3.
